3rD DaY Of CNY...
This year's CNY seems rather gloomy. 1st day only went to papa side's grandparents place for lunch. Thn nite time went to 4th aunt house. Reached there rather late, at abt 10 plus cos everyone was so nua, esp my bro...like jelly fish.

At 4th aunt's place, most relatives already left le, but there's still enough to make the house noisy...Major contributions would be from the 3 pre-schools chatter boxes..=) Sat down and ate some leftovers on the table, at times i do feel like a rubbish bin. Thn 4th aunt sat beside me, askin me is my face better and then went on examinin it. I jus stayed still like a rock hopin 4 e moment she stops. Hate ppl examinin me...Then we chatted, chatted abt family and life. I was rather suprised tat we do click quite well. Learn some things from her, i think she's a great lady. =)

Went home at abt 12 with DeJun and DeLin, my 2 closest cousins. After reaching sgoon, had to fetch e 2 cousins back home, at Tampines. Back at home at abt 1am, played game - C&C Generals till abt 4 then went to slp. =)

2nd day of CNY, woke up at 930am. Watch Memiors of a Geisha on e DVD. Its a nice show, sad too. Bro watched it le so while my dad and i were watchin e DVD, bro went to play Generals. Soon, my dad was playing too.. =/

Similarly, Slack at home most of the time as we took turns to play game. At 1130am, went out to run. Time was slow and it was torturin. Must hav looked quite weird, ppl must be thinkin why is this chinese guy perspiring on CNY?? In the evening, went to 2nd aunt place. Watched the Medallion on Channel 5. Ate quite alot of bak gua, kai xin guo and other rubbish and jolly sandy. Alcohol and carbonated water really don suit me. Anyway, i was guilty, i was startin to feel fat.

After tt, we went to my godma's place at Tampines. Boy was it crowded. All my cousins were there, except Gene and Clara. We slacked and talked and watched TV. Stomach was rather grumpy so i shut it up by enterin food. Again, i was the rubbish bin, help to clear up the leftovers. =/

Left Godma'z place at abt 1230am. Drove home after fetchin the De brothers back. Reached home, play Generals till 4am again.

3rd day of CNY, cousins decided to meet up for a movie at PS. Steve was there 1st followed by me and bro. Wa kaoz, the queue was dam long!! think will hav to wait for 40 min b4 our turn. So, we went to the online kiosk as noobs, then Jay came. Got the tics after some conflicts with those tat were still not present cos we were left with the front row for the Fearless 350pm slot. Ended up taking the 615 slot.

When all had arrived, we went to the FC to see Gene take her lunch. We sat around and chatted. Unfortunately, chatted abt DJ as we was the only one not present - gotta bring gf home for lunch. =P Went to play pool at Meridien SC but the queue was dam long. After entering the waiting list, we hung around outside and chatted, ok it was more like laugh-ted. We gave up waiting jus 1 hour b4 the show started and headed back to PS. Wanna get a bite so Steve recommanded Secret Recipe, its his workplace so everywhere we go he also recommanded it. Had to admit one thing, the service was quite sucky, jus like the Suntec branch we visited a yr ago. But the choc cheese cake was nice. Shared with Clara as she was startin to feel fat and guilty after the 3rd mouth. =)

The movie was great; violent and sad. Clara was full of emotions, one time her hands were clasping her mouth in disguist as Huo Yuan Jia broke tat guy's arm into 2 and the next she was searchin desperately in her handbag. Jay sat beside her, took out a tissue...Wat an understandin 'gentleman'..=)

After e movie, we were discussing about this and tat and advertising clara with all her emotional attributes. As usual couldnt decide where to go for dinner, Steve was lip shut. In the end, went to Yoshinoya. Ordered some chicken rice Jap style large set - $6.40. Was dam hungry..DL ordered salmon and Steve ordered nth, saying tt his mum cooked le. Mine was e last to arrive and by then, bro already finished his. We chatted, with Clara being the 'Joke of the Day' again..=P Its amazing tat the 9 of us all have different personalities and whn we come together, sparks jus flew. Jol was laughin dam hard beside me as Clara was tellin abt her weird friend who thinks tat potato is meat and hotdog is vegetable. You could almost see Jol's face crackin as she struggled to supress herself. =) It was a nice and enjoyable sea of laughter and craziness. =P

Gene and Jay went clubbing, Steve and DL went home at east, Jol to CCK, Clara to AMK and bro n i to TPY. After bidding gdbyes, Clara, Jol, bro n i took the north line. Had some interestin conversation abt marriage and our views. Nice things always come to an end as we bidded gdbye but there will always be the next meetin..=)

Reached home, did chin-ups. I suck manz, did 3.9 only, i am doomed. For some reason, i cannot clench my left fist, it feels like someone is tryin to pull them open whn i do it. Now, my right arm too. Weird, i don wanna lose the abilities of my arms. Grabbin my Colin Mcrae 4 discs, i went home.

So jus like this, 2006 CNY was over. Somehow, i still missed those times we had when we were much younger. Those carefree and childish and not-so-much-responsibilities days as we play PS, cards and some other wacko games. Nevetheless, i will still treasure wat we have now and pray tat 20 years down the road, we would still be as close. =)
